ThermalBreak 8™ and Thermal Brane 6™ has an innovative foil overlap piece that provides and extra 3m2 coverage per roll. Providing you 30m2 coverage per roll, compared to 27m2 for our competitors.

Steel Shed Walls and Roof insulated using Thermal Brane 4

Trade Select ™ ThermalBrane 4™ has been designed as the economical choice of product in the range and can be installed in sheds, walls and roofs. At 4mm it is the thinnest, most flexible and compact of the product range, making it ideal for use in tight spaces or cavities. Installed total system R-values* range up to R2.1 for Walls, R2.6 for Metal Roofs and R2.3 for Tile Roofs.
TradeSelect ThermalBrane 4 is available in rolls 1.5m x 20m (30m²)

Thermal break

The BCA (Building Code of Australia) now requires certain buildings incorporating steel frame roofs (with exposed beams and or raked ceilings) or walls include a minimum thermal break of R0.2 between the roof or wall cladding and steel frame to reduce thermal bridging and conductivity between these buildings elements.
Ametalin ThermalBreak 8™ meets the NCC/BCA requirements for in-situ material R-value of R0.2 for a thermal break in steel framed construction.

Reflectivity: ThermalBrane™ & ThermalBreak 8™ reflect up to 97% of radiant heat to ensure you are kept cool in summer and warm in winter. By re-radiating heat, they keep energy loss to a minimum, reducing heating and cooling costs.

Low Conduction: The specially developed foam reduces heat transfer through closed cell air pockets.

Low Convection: ThermalBrane™ & ThermalBreak 8™ trap still air and reduce the event of convection occurring.
