Semi Tipper
Melbourne Hydraulics Semi Tipper kit includes the following:
- PTO to suit Road Ranger & ZF
- Pump
- Semi Tipper valve
- 205 litres of hydraulic oil
- TEMA 10000 coupling
- Air or electric cab controls
- PIRTEK® hose & fittings
- Fitted & tested
The Semi Tipper is our most common fit up and provides the basis of all our PTO kits. It includes a PTO, pump and control valve. PTO supplied is suitable for all Road Ranger gearboxes including Ultra Shift®, Auto Shift®& ZF ASTRONIC. Please see accessories on page 12 for other gearboxes that can be supplied.
Due to the large hoists that are run in Semi Tippers, all hosing and valving are set for maximum flow utilising 1” hose and fittings for pressure and 1” ½ for return & suction allowing the hoist to raise and lower at the fastest permissible speed. Pump displacement is 100 litres per minute @ 1000rpm. (System pressure 2000psi)
We fit a single TEMA 10000 female coupling (supply) which includes a lock ring to prevent accidental disconnection. Coupling position and other coupling brands can be specified upon order.
Cab controls are specified upon order and can be either air or electric. Switches and mounting position are configured at time of order and can be anywhere from beside driver’s seat, dash or roof panel.
